The
Department Headquarters Building was built on land donated by
Legionnaires Chester Wilcox and Paul Bragger, both members of R.
V. Van Schoick , Lacey Post # 94. Department Commander Joe Norby
presided over the ground breaking ceremony on January 1987 and
the dedication ceremony that took place on June 6, 1987. The
mortgage was paid off on February 26, 1991.
